Corrections Policy
Published: · Last reviewed:
AIMarketer.ie aims to make factual information clear, current and traceable. When a material error is confirmed, we correct it promptly and place a dated notice on the affected page explaining what changed.
How corrections are handled
- We check the issue against the page's cited source or another authoritative primary source.
- We correct factual mistakes without silently changing the meaning of the original claim.
- For a material correction, we add the date and a plain-language explanation of what changed.
- Routine updates, such as layout improvements or refreshed links, are identified as updates rather than corrections.
- Commercial relationships do not prevent or delay a correction.
What a correction notice includes
The notice states the correction date, the information that was inaccurate and the corrected information. When useful, it also identifies the source used to verify the change. Minor spelling or formatting fixes that do not change meaning may be corrected without a separate notice.
