Critical Skills Employment Permit

For qualifying skilled employment with a job offer of at least two years.

Listed roles generally require a relevant degree and €40,904 annual remuneration; a recent-qualification threshold can apply. The higher route specifies over €68,911 and excludes ineligible occupations. No Labour Market Needs Test is required. Employer and professional conditions still apply.

Graduate Critical Skills threshold

A reduced threshold within the Critical Skills route, not a separate permit type.

The €36,848 threshold applies where the relevant qualification was received within 12 months before application, for the applicable listed-occupation route. The other Critical Skills requirements remain.
